We can accommodate groups from 1 - 200. There is a price break for the longer you stay and the more people you have. We only rent to one group at a time, so when you reserve the camp for your group, you will be the only group on the grounds during that period. RETREAT CENTER
The RETREAT CENTER (RC) was recently renovated inside and is where most people choose to stay for smaller retreats. There is a full residential kitchen complete with stove/oven, refrigerator and microwave. We do have supplies and cooking utensils for your use. There is a living room area with three couches and a TV/VCR/DVD combo unit. There are also two bunk areas - each side has 5 bunks (sleeps a total of 10 per side), two showers, two toilets and two sinks. Some groups choose to bring sleeping bags and or inflatable mattresses and sleep extra people on the floors of either side or in the center living area. There are two 8' tables and chairs for your use as well. The Retreat Center is air conditioned and heated.

DINING HALL
The DINING HALL is available for meal preparation, entertainment, and as a meeting place. Rent of the Dining Hall allows you to use any utensils in the kitchen, TV units in the main area and any other aspects the Dining Hall offers (including the walk-in freezers and refrigerators). We do have a sound system that can be used for an additional fee. The Dining Hall is carpeted, has WiFi, central heat and air, along with one attached bathroom.
CABINS / BATHOUSE
CABINS There are 15 cabins on the campgrounds that are available to rent. Each cabin sleeps twelve to sixteen with the exception of the Nurse's Cabin which sleeps four and also has a shower and toilet inside the cabin. Cabins 1-6 are traditionally boy cabins and 7-14 are for girls. There are two bathhouses on the grounds - one on the boys' end and one on the girls'. Each has multiple toilets, sinks and showers. All cabins have window air conditioners. PLEASE NOTE: Only two of our cabins (one boys and one girls) are handicap accessible. We also have one handicap accessible bathroom that is separate from the bathhouses. It is located directly across from the pool on the East end of the Girls' Bathhouse.

POOL
We do have a POOL that is available for use from April through mid-September. If you choose to rent the pool, you must provide a certified lifeguard or someone CPR certified who will be responsible for those swimming. The pool is 5' deep at its deepest and 3' shallow in the low end. There is no diving board nor is diving allowed anywhere in the pool because of its depth. There are lights in the pool that make it a nice place for an evening/night swim session. The pool area is locked at all times and only accessible if you choose to rent the pool during your stay.

CLIMBING WALL
|
We have a CLIMBING WALL that is available as an add-on to your rental for your group or family to use. Our equipment is inspected & licensed annually for safety. The climbing wall has a range of weight from 45 lbs - 250 lbs and can have 3 climbers at a time.

CAMPFIRE AREA
CAMPFIRE We have 2 campfire ring/pit areas that you are welcome to use free of charge while you are here. We simply ask that you make sure that your fire is fully extinguished when you are finished using it. There are also benches to sit on around the main campfire area making it a great place to sit and talk in the evenings. Bring your own S'mores or hotdogs to complete the campfire atmosphere. NOTE: You are responsible for starting and extinguishing your own campfires.

RECREATION AREAS

The campgrounds are large and provide many RECREATION AREAS & activities for your use, including a very large open field.

DATES OF OPERATION
The camp is available to rent year-round. The Dining Hall & Retreat Center have central heat and air. Both bathhouses have propane heaters in them. The cabins have window unit air conditioners but are not heated. You are welcome to bring space heaters to warm the cabins during the winter months. NOTE: If you use space heaters anywhere on the campgrounds, we ask that you not leave them running unattended because of fire hazard.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
We are a Christian campground, therefore we do have some GUIDELINES for your stay here.
- Please do not bring any alcoholic beverages onto the campgrounds - doing so will result in immediate dismissal from the grounds without refund of your deposit.
- Camp Sooner is a smoke-free campground. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the campgrounds (this includes vapes and any type of medical marijuana).
- Pets are welcome but must be leashed and are NOT permitted inside any buildings. Please clean up after your pet in the heavily trafficked areas.
- Any vandalism or other destructive behaviors will result in immediate dismissal from the campgrounds without refund or deposit and you will be charged for cleaning/repairs to damaged areas. This includes writing on our bunks or walls.
- A signed Camp Facility Use Agreement will be required for any activity taking place on our campgrounds.
